I finally have half an hour to sit and write! The pre-Christmas madness has been particularly crazy this year!

We have been really lucky in Bristol, our winter so far has consisted of beautiful sunny and cold days. For my Christmas and Birthday present from my parents I have been extremely fortunate to receive a touring bike - a British Eagle 513 ST. It is gorgeous and will hopefully make the journey into work quicker. . I never thought I would get into cycling but hey, ho, here we go! Never say never! Maybe there will be some longer rides over the summer.

Here we go!

Here we go!

I'm busy between labs, typing up results and working on writing up research over the last few months. The Apogee in the GroDome are happy and I'm plodding along taking regular measurements. It will be interesting at the end of the investigation to put together the full picture.

I'm looking forward to spending some quality time with my family down in Dartmoor over Christmas. Although rather than counting down the days till Christmas I feel like I am more excited for the arrival of Spring!
